Gli Smash Mouth, originariamente chiamati Smashmouth, sono un gruppo rock statunitense formato dal frontman Steve Harwell, Paul De Lisle, Mike Krompass, e l’attuale batterista Randy Cooke.
Il loro è un rock fortemente influenzato dallo ska e dall’originario rock ‘n roll, ma anche leggermente dall’hip hop , genere cantato dal frontman prima di creare il gruppo.
Quest’ultima influenza si nota maggiormente nel loro brano più celebre: All Star.
